Question:  To win, what do I need to do?  Take some things off.  Why?

Transition:  To lighten myself to run an efficient and effective race

RUN TO RUN VERSUS RUN TO WIN (I Corinthians 9:24-27)
A. Run to Win
B. To Win:  I Need Discipline And Self Control
C. To Win:  I Need An Aim
D. To Win:  I Need To Follow The Rules

WHAT DO I NEED TO TAKE OFF (LAY ASIDE)?
A. Revelry And Drunkenness 
1. Revelry = Riotous conduct [Partying]
2. Drunkenness = Usually associated with revelry

B. Lewdness And Lust 
1. Lewdness = Cohabitation (the marriage bed, lie down)
2. Lust = Sexual excess, non-restraint, insatiable desire-pleasure

C. Strife And Envy
1. Strife = ‘Love of Strife
2. Envy = Zealous / Jealous, Root = hot (anger)
